Within
48 hours of receiving your job, Aero-Lac, Inc. checks in all orders for shortages, flaws,
etc. We report to the customer any
discrepancies before proceeding further with the job.

Premium
Prep:
Aero-Lac,
Inc. will fully inspect, putty (if needed), iron out flaws, sand, remove and replace the
doors from their jambs (keeping the hinges clean). We seal the top and bottom of each
door.

|
Standard
Prep:
This
option allows the customer to provide complete preparation of the material, prior to
sending to Aero-Lac for finishing. Doors are sealed top and bottom.
|
|
|
Exterior
Grade Finish:
All
exterior applications receive special attention. The
same guidelines as Premium Prep, followed by multiple coats of Urethane finish applied to
doors tops and bottoms. Aero-Lac then takes additional steps to ensure better
protection of your door from the weather. |

Finishing
Steps
|
|
|
Once
we have completed the Check-in and Prepping of your job and received final instructions
the following steps take place: Aero-Lac,
Inc. applies the stain using an airless spray
system, verifying that the color is consistent with the control sample.
We
apply two coats of sanding sealer over the stain. Depending on the type of finish, Varnish
& Urethane and Unicoated.
Aero-Lac,
Inc. then sands the material using 220 grit sand paper prior to applying
the final top coat.
The
top-coat or finish coat sheen may be flat, satin or
semi gloss depending on your
need. We then apply the top coat with
an air assisted spray system to ensure a beautiful finish.
We
apply two coats of sanding sealer over the stain. Depending on the type of finish, Varnish

We also offer custom color matching for a minimal one time fee.
To
ensure color consistency, only Aero-Lac, Inc. stains are used and are blended in our shop. |

Conversion
Varnish has higher solids and offers extra resistance to moisture. Varnish is
excellent for use in bathrooms and kitchens. |

Lacquer
based paint for interior doors and millwork – mar resistance. Enamel based paint works great for exterior doors and millwork.
Varnish
based paint is great for cabinets. |

| Prime: |
Primer used for interior and exterior materials |

| Glazing: |
For
an unique antique appearance |

| Fiberglass: |
A
real wood grain appearance applied to long lasting fiberglass. |
