Aero-Lac, Inc has been an
industry leader in its approach to reducing harmful pollutants
into the environment. As a Title V permit holder,
Aero-Lac is regulated and monitored by several agencies,
including PSAPCA (Puget Sound Air Pollution Control
Agency),
the Washington State Department of Ecology and the EPA
(Environmental Pollution Agency). As a company goal,
Aero-Lac strives to reduce all harmful emissions into the
environment wherever possible. Several processes are in place to
achieve these goals. (See Below)

Use of a 7 gallon still to reclaim all thinners.
All solid wastes are disposed of through the services of Emerald
Services, Inc.

All chemicals are stored in enclosed fire
safety cabinets which reduces the risk of spills and
harmful VOC (Volatile Organic
Compounds) emissions into the environment.

All stains are stored and/or mixed
in an isolated room to protect from accidental spills.

All spray products are low VOC
wherever possible.

All stains and lacquers are applied with
air-assist airless spray guns to reduce over spray and
excess. emissions into the environment.

All equipment is checked daily to verify
proper working condition.

Two automated track lines are used to
increase productivity and reduce the duration of emissions
into the environment.

All materials are sprayed in booths which
utilize filters to reduce the emission of solid particulates
into the environment.
